Start Your Fyr

BTV received a major rebranding as part of the final move away from the “B” names the company originally started with. In 2012, B Entertainment changed to Sikora Entertainment. “BTV was thriving on YouTube at that time and a re-branding was not in the works. YouTube and our channel has changed a lot over the years, we narrowed down our audience, put shows on their own channels and really tried to solidify the experience. While we are still growing, we came across challenges that slowed us down, tried to put out our fire. It took months to figure out a good name that could replace it.” Sikora said.

BTV officially made the switch in January and is not looking back. FYRtv is not an acronym, it’s simply FIRE. “There is a passionate fire burning inside that has always been there, the past couple years have tried to put our fire out but we will not let that happen, so the name was perfect for our mindset.” FYRtv said.

“Fans will still be getting the same quality content, just a sharper focus on delivering great videos, I am excited to see where we can go.” Sikora said.

Fluffy Friends Join Facebook

It’s better late than never! Fluffy Friends finally has their own page on Facebook and you can LIKE them now! It’s definitely taken some time for the crazy puppets to evolve, originally starting out on Vine making fun parody videos and sketches, the puppets really exploded on Instagram where they are the most active. In the summer they got their own YouTube account, so it was just a matter of time.

These puppets have always been edgy, it was never just for kids. The videos were hilarious parodies on pop culture and making fun of random things. With the addition of social networks, the puppets also welcomed a new roomie to the cast, Ollie, a lovable, naive fluffy. People have already gotten a small taste of him in a few videos.

BTV Crosses 100k Subscribers

BTV has crossed 100,000 subscribers this past April and just received a silver Play Button award from YouTube for it’s achievement. Creator and founder William Sikora III posted a picture on Instagram and he thanked everyone who supported and contributed to BTV over the years. BTV has grown into a powerful resource for Sikora Entertainment, serving up all of it’s film releases and series.

“YouTube turned 10 this year, I don’t think there is anything on the internet I love more, it really changed my life and how I work. Being able to share my imagination with the world has been my dream since day one and having people follow my dream and tell me they get inspired to do the same, it’s priceless.” Sikora said.

THE VISITOR Brings Back The Horror

The new horror film The Visitor premiered on BTV today that shows the raw documented footage of David Perez and the strange phenomenons that occurred in a house he was studying. The “found footage” film follows in the footsteps of 2010’s release of The Jealous Spirit which has surpassed over 1 million views and left viewers in fear.

David Perez, played by Elias Montalvo has a fascination with ghosts and paranormal things; after his aunt complains of strange things happening in her house, he sets off to uncover the mysteries and document it all with a small film crew.

“The scares are bigger, the footage is raw, dark, and creepy. Viewers already are trying to figure out what happened exactly in that house.” BTV said.

“Plans were to initially release the film in January 2015, but it was bumped up to December 12th since the video was ready to go ahead of schedule. It is not very typical to release a horror film in December, but we like to change things up a bit.” Sikora said.
